As they watched, the creature spoke in a voice that was both familiar and strange. "Hello, little one," it said. "I've been waiting for you."
Atlas smiled, happy to see Luna so enchanted by the wolf. "Yes, it is," he said. "And it's also very wild. We have to respect its space and let it live its life."
Atlas answered each question patiently, teaching Luna about the different creatures that lived in the forest and how they interacted with their environment. As they walked, the trees grew taller and the underbrush thicker. Luna heard a rustling in the bushes and turned to her father with a look of excitement.
"Wow, Daddy," she breathed. "It's so beautiful."
