As the story unfolds, a group of passengers from the back of the train, led by Curtis Everett (Chris Evans), revolt against the oppressive regime and make their way towards the front of the train.

In a post-apocalyptic world, humanity has survived on a train that perpetually circles a frozen post-apocalyptic world. The train is divided into sections, with the wealthy and powerful residing in luxury at the front and the poor and marginalized struggling to survive at the back.
